Update: there were (waves hands) "technical issues" that kept these feeds from showing up in Google Reader. Those responsible have been sacked.
I’ve felt for some time that it would help me to read through the Bible – but I’ve also known that my chances of sticking through to the end are very slim, and that I would need some help to finish.
At times like this, one only need ask oneself, “Well, am I a programmer, or am I a programmer?” (Hollah.)
The Result
I’ve set up a new web site that automatically blogs the Bible, piece at a time, in a way that news readers can understand:
I’ve been reading this way since last July, and it’s been good. Talk with me sometime and I’ll bend your ear about some of the things I’ve learned.
I’ve also been tweaking the software along the way – the text is now easier to read without verse numbers and footnotes – and it’s ready to announce:
